      I actually agree with this guy. Before you laugh, France manages to have a couple of relatively successful car companies, Spain has one, Australia may still if it wasn’t tied up with GM, I think we should give it a go

      I don’t know about cars but Edison Motors is currently pioneering hybrid commercial trucks on the west coast. They are working on retrofit packages for light duty pickups as well last I checked.

      It can be done!

    3. With electric cars the barrier to entering the market is way lower. It hasn’t been this easy to enter the car market since the 1960s when Britain was literally whipping up a new car company every two weeks if you ask me in 1990 if Canada could have its own car company I would’ve laughed Memories of the Bricklyn were still in my head.

      Today? No problem.
