    1. > “Does it disappoint me? I don’t know how to quite answer it, other than to say how terrifying this is,” Blunt began. When shown an image of Norwood, she exclaimed, “No, are you serious? That’s an AI? Good Lord, we’re screwed. That is really, really scary, Come on, agencies, don’t do that. Please stop. Please stop taking away our human connection.”

Calling any image created using AI an “Actress” is a stretch in credibility.

AI actors don’t complain, they’re always on time, they don’t get sick, they don’t age, and they can’t refuse to do certain scenes. They’ll be cheap, endlessly available, and studios will love them. Yep! I’m terrified for the future of films. Imagine a world where our favorite stars get replaced by code. 😣

    4. That promo video was probably their best effort and still slop. There’s nothing to worry about.

People need to come together and boycott any film company that designs to use “Tilly” because it is not an actress, it is stolen data from humans for profit. It’s sad that a woman was the one that created it and is now pushing this as an “art form”.

If a film company signs Tilly, let’s hope enough of humanity will avoid the film like the plague and it bombs.

Oh no. The rich and famous are gunna lose their jobs to AI too. Boo hoo

    7. acting jobs aren’t any more important than factory jobs. if we dont protect factory worker jobs from robots, why do we need to protect actor worker jobs from robots?

    8. Seeing all these posts and publications referring to a collection of deepfake videos and cgi photos as an “Actress” is so goddamn annoying.

“Call out AI Actress” she’s calling out greedy corporate decisions, that bitch ain’t real the, fuck you mean?

    10. Bottom level filler acting will be replaced by AI and it doesn’t really bother me. I’m way more worried about the day in day out worker replaced by it who has to evolve and find new ways to contribute.

    11. The 90’s movie S1M0NE was ahead of its time, for sure.

Spoiler alert: The creator kills the project because back in the 90’s we pretended capitalists had ethics.

    12. Yeah, this won’t last long. Whether we realize it or not, something that we’re drawn to as viewers is talent and effort. When a character is played spectacularly, we realize how impressive the actor or actress’s performance is, and are amazed by it. With AI, we won’t feel that.

    13. Hollywood made a movie starring Al Pacino about the use of an AI actress as a leading lady. That movie is starting to look like a possibility…

    14. im a fan of cgi and animation and i look forward to more as the technology improves

    15. I would watch an AI generated movie but I would not watch them on a regular basis.

What will probably be more common is having AI characters, which you can argue happens already when you look at say a robot character in a human movie but that’s a different situation.

    16. The writing is already on the wall. If AI can do your job, it will. Were still in toddler years, so people saying its just slop cant see out even 2-3 years. Prepare accordingly. You can resist, but we are addicted to cheap products
