      I was one of the 13 million. I had heard nothing but good things about it online. Imagine my surprise to find out it was just really, really bad.

      I don’t remember Superman getting whooped so badly. Seemed like he was getting it handed to him most of the movie

      Didn’t enjoy it.

      Not enough story, emotion, or character development honestly. Just a lot of action.

      “Superman is good to a fault, Lex is an awfully bad and envious person, oh there’s a cute dog, and look, other characters for future spin-offs!” — pretty much throughout the entire movie.

      This contrasts with the first Guardians of the Galaxy where development from start to finish was insane.

      I liked everything but Lex… just a really 1 dimension character…. unlikable. I’m surprised they didn’t have him eating puppies. I’m not asking to root for the guy, just to not roll my eyes when there’s a scene with him.

      Just to clarify, does a “view“ count as somebody watching the movie till the credits?

      I had given this movie a shot over the weekend and couldn’t make it 15 minutes in… switched over to Task, which was fantastic (probably more my speed anyways).

      By far my favorite Superman movie… The Snyder ones are a slog to get through… I feel bad for Cavil being cast in such a depressing ass take.

      Yeah I’m definitely on the side of “this did not live up to the hype”

      People acting like it’s the best movie of the year and it wasn’t even the best Superman. I’m so confused why people liked it. It seems like it really just boils down to the action shots and the speed of the scenes to keep momentum going. The story is garbage. Superman is the only convincing actor, the rest are terrible.

      In time people will laugh at this Superman. By the next iteration in a decade
