Ninja has taken a big chunk out of their business in our household. The Dyson pricing is nuts in comparison.

    2. Oh no, my heart bleeds.

Fuck off Dyson, you psychopathic, Monagasque Brexiteer.

    3. Overpriced lifestyle gadgets that’s desirability tanked with the reputation of the figurehead.

      Heard that before

I used to pay the high price for a British brand. Now it’s Singaporean I just buy similar asian vacuums for 1/3 the price.

We replaced our second broken Dyson with a Henry, it’s miles better

    6. I dunno. For me at least, it’s hard to justify a vacuum that costs 500+ knowing most of the costs is for the brand itself, knowing there’s plenty of devices half that price that work just as well.

As it gets harder to afford things, a lot of these boutique brands are going to realize their brand identity means nothing to the average consumer as they go for cheaper brands that work just as well.

    7. Maybe just maybe, we really don’t need to buy a vacuum cleaner that costs almost a grand lol. The cost of them now days is insane

      Good. Screw that brexiteer bastard.

Miele is million times better in making vacuums anyway.

Its like £700 for the latest vacuum. They are mental if they think its worth that much.

    10. We replaced our original Dyson that was built like a tank with another ‚upgraded‘ model, discovering that they now seemingly build from recycled yogurt pots. Absolute piece of crap. Meanwhile, original Dyson is still working doing garage duties

    11. Sebo vacuums are excellent with ridiculously good suction at a fraction of the price.

I boycotted Dyson since Brexit. In that time I’ve bought 2 vacuums that would have been Dyson

Who would have thought a company over-charging for their products would start to struggle, OH NO WHAT WILL WE DO.

    14. I have one Dyson item- my air purifier for my allergies which is a few years old. But I refuse to buy any more products as a result of his lies and pissing off immediately after brexit. Maybe if he behaved a bit better then people would buy his products

Normally I’d feel bad, but this guy has betrayed the UK business-wise for moving manufacturing abroad, his HQ abroad, and his residency and tax abroad, all after campaigning for Brexit.

    16. Last couple of Dyson’s I’ve had have been disappointing from a performance and longevity point of view. Replaced with a corded shark in the summer, and as I was buying it, the assistant in Currys was desperately trying to get me to switch to a Dyson. I guess that they were being incentivised to push them to combat falling sales. the Shark has been brilliant, wouldn’t think about going back to Dyson units now.
