Ok, i have yet to see a swedish source conforming this.
I have checked the most common swedish news sites and nothing about it yet.

Wishful thinking, right? Gripens story is floating for several years.
At the same time, prevailing opinion that only large fleet of older F16 could provide an economical solution for high intensity use of airframes in attrition war.

Great if true. The Gripen’s affordability and ability to take off from improvised runways makes it ideal for chasing down drones and missiles. Frees up the US and French aircraft for assault
I think the baltic states should also load up on them

While this is good news if true, how feasibly can they be integrated into the Ukrainian Air Force when they’re already having to train pilots (and manage logistics) for ex-Soviet and NATO jets?
