There are the Republicans and Democrats, then there is the middle. The middle is finicky, they gave Biden more popular votes than anyone in history, 4 years later they stayed home for a variety of reasons one of them the economy. Trumps polices are a rehash of 1930 Tariff, isolation and an over estimation of economic might. No matter how you fudge the economic numbers 80% of the population lives paycheck to paycheck, inflation sucks when you have just enough coming in. The folks who are not politically motivated, don’t care what you say inflation is they figure it out all by themselves and vote or don’t vote accordingly.
