And I guess Europe will this time not just watch from sidelines, if Moscow thinks it could just do a Crimea move again.
I’m not sure how many actually understand the importance of this result.
Moldova is a small country with a Huge geopolitical importance to Putler, and the fact that he can’t control the political side of it, is a big issue.
Even more, if Hungary gets rid of this Orban muppet PM and they (Fidesz) lose the parliamentary majority, it will be another blow to Putler’s war plan.
It would have been a disaster to have Russia claw back Moldova and use it as a thorn in the side of both Ukraine and Romania. There is little doubt that the russian parties had orders to find a way to apply the georgian treatment to Moldova.

Moldova is making its intentions clear, sovereignty, reform, and alignment with Europe. The geopolitical balance in Eastern Europe continues to shift.

I cant believe there is still such a high % of pro-Russian population.
So, serious question, Moldova is one of the poorest countries in the world and scores mid / high on the world corruption scale. What are people (here) so happy about?
