Soy, then beef. Which other domestic agri-industry will Trump harm?

I wonder why all these American farms are losing their markets but American groceries are still insanely expensive. It’s almost like… the system is fucked. Thanks Obama.

Trump is like a chess player unable to understand the counter to the move he just made.
Australian Beef exports rose from 140 million a month to over 220 million per month while US exports fell by a similar amount.
80+ million USD a month (Or approximately 900 dollarydoos) just in Beef, thats a big win for Aussies.

So, if nobody is buying our beef, why is beef so expensive? Shouldn’t we have oversupply? Or did we deport our meatpackers and ranch hands?

Pretty soon the cattle farmers will want a handout as well

If US beef is no longer going to China, supposedly that would mean increased supply due to a drop in demand. Basic economic theory should result in lower prices, all else being equal.
Given beef prices are at an all time high, something else is going on. What is it?
