Ein russischer Mi-28-Angriffshubschrauber wurde Berichten zufolge von einer ukrainischen FPV-Drohne niedergeschlagen, die von der 59. Angriffsbrigade unbemannter Systeme betrieben wurde.

That would be the first time, right?
Damn, the development of drones and what they are capable of, looks like a turning point in military history.
And I expect to see a lot more scary developments in this field.

That’s a Mi-17, not a 28 for sure…

That looked a lot like the one hit by the Starstreak back in 2022. I assume helicopter downings tend to look alike, but will try to locate that video just to compare.

That’s going to be an epic video in first person view

‚Mujahedeen unlocked stingers‘ moment. Man, Russians should have really second-thought this whole invasion thing. They’ve lost half their military for 13% of Ukraine in the past 43 months. Completely overestimated their offensive capabilities. Well, I guess that happens when government deliberately erases all facts about foreign support from collective memory of the great patriotic war and gets high on their own farts of military greatness.

Yeah, Interceptor drones now have zero chill. I imagine anything with the horsepower and boom to take out a Shahed can mcfuck up a heli.

Amazing news, those helicopter pilots are going to fear the sky like this did in Afghanistan after the US gave the Afghanis some stinger missiles.

I have been waiting for this! Since the beginning of first FPV drone footages I have thought that soon even helicopters aren’t safe from these.
