The UN really, really needs to move out of the US – maybe to Geneva – so regional politics and visa restrictions won’t be a factor.
Do they have Costcos in Geneva? If so, I’m sure Iranian diplomats would support the move.

So the threat has no bite anyways. How often does he even travel to the US anyways

This is how the US will lose the UN building and even more influence. Countries are going to just opt for Switzerland as Trump is treating major diplomatic events and UN assemblies as things that he can interfere with. He’s trying to prevent people or countries from being able to go to places that were previously, neutral territory for all countries to come together diplomatically.

As much as Trump has been a shitshow, no country would allow a foreign leader foment instability in their country. A lot of countries call out American meddling in their internal matters, but at least that isn’t as overt and bizarre as this situation.

I’m surprised that some are defending him. Doesn’t matter how much one disagrees with Trump, any foreign leader who was basically close to calling for a coup should not be welcome. A bunch of theatrics to hide his very low approval rating in Colombia [about 1/3 approve]. Surely, there are domestic issues he should attend to. And maybe look in the mirror and fix the issues as home before calling for mass protest and uprising in a foreign country.
