I think that people should just stop and realize that it’s a battle between good and evil, while most people nowadays see this as a fairy tale thing, evil exists and it can manifest in people with any ideology/religion/philosophy at any moment, and evil is mostly what drives the people who push the „right vs left“ narrative.

You dump a bunch of 18 year olds in a desert to fight a war for 10 years straight against an enemy who blends in perfectly with the surrounding civilian population then dump them back into society with no plan to teach them how to actually live in society again, don’t be surprised 10 years later when you get 40 year old vets who snap from untreated ptsd and start killing the civilians they originally wanted to protect.
