Oh but Reddit told me that helicopters are obsolete?
The quote, „Necessity is mother of invention“ certainly apply in Ukraine as the military continually create means to better defend against Russian attacks using drone.
This is good, and once the anti drone missiles are available, this should make for a very effective platform to take out drones.
The US just finished decommissioning hundreds of Cobra attack helicopters. Those would be perfect to hunt drones, with APKWS or the cannon.
