Composite of tracked skies and foreground from the Port Hills in Ōtautahi | Christchurch, New Zealand. All taken with a ZWO Asi533mc Pro Camera and Laowa 15mm f/2 ZD lens (with Sony attachment). Tracked on an AM5N mount, which is a bit overkill for this sort of shot (usually the mount I use for DSO work).
Sky is made up of 6 shots (3×2 panorama) each tracked at 300s + Darks + Bias + Flats (so only 30 mins of light data) at 15mm f/2.8.
Foreground was taken with the same set up with 3×1 panorama at 60s f/2.8.
Happy to answer any questions people have!
I read that as sheep deprivation… yes I am sleep deprived
Oh wow, That’s the first time I’ve ever looked at a picture of the Milky Way and felt like I was on the edge of a galaxy looking inwards.
What is all that matter? Is it all stars or gas clouds?
