    • Autoversicherung: Prämien um 8,5% (Tokio Marine); Andere +6–7,5% im Jahr 2026.

    1. Prices go up, but my pay doesn’t. I thought they were supposed to raise interest rates in line with inflation, but the yen continues to weaken. I feel like I’m getting it from every angle.

      The speed of price hikes has been way too rapid and hasn’t stopped for a long time.

      Let’s just say that if things don’t improve, I don’t see a reason to continue to live here, the whole point of me living here was that the inflation was stable compared to the income and quality of life.

    5. Even in the west the price hikes are not that fast and brutal

      This is becoming ridiculous, there is hikes every month and yen is falling to no end

      The job market is even more awful than the west too right now

      I feel it’s time to go back home after 10y here, situation is bad but at least there’s a future when Japan doesn’t seem to have one
