As a non American (Asian to be specific) when i talk to my friends or family about flat earth or space is fake, they simply would not care that much, some even open up to the idea of that, the point here is that it’s not that much a big of a deal. Meanwhile i see a strong reaction toward flat earthers in America, like people would find that offensive or outright insult at the idea of that, people would shun you for that. I found out the reason for that is the Hollywood and the Government and NASA bombard people with space fantasy through moon mission, star wars, star trek, etc..(In Asia there is much less of that) for decades to the point that they develop some kind of space fetish, telling them space is fake is equivalent of telling kids Santa is not real
