      At SAP, there will likely be a need for fewer engineers to deliver the same—or even greater—output, according to the company’s CFO Dominik Asam.

      “It would be an illusion to believe AI will help and drive more productivity, but the workforce will still look the same.”

      He estimated that some 60 to 70% of jobs could go digital.

    2. There’s a really small group of people ai is *almost ripe* to replace to save the *absolute most* for a company and I’m sure that when this gets closer to reality the solution of replacing labor with ai will immediately disappear.

      so your saying they want less people and we just had a massive virus that culled a lot of elderly

    4. They are putting in the productivity squeeze on employees in a bad job market.

      AI is just an excuse. Employees will overwork and credit will go to AI.

    5. AI should be taxed on the estimated number jobs it has replaced and on the average salary of these jobs.

      That’ll make them think twice.
