It’ll probably just be an embarrassing train wreck
Judging from his other speeches, hell use the event to ramble about some random US internal politics
The world of diplomacy never presented so bizarrely than via that need of our leaders to act like the angry, orange toddler behaving like a king was a valued statesman.
Nothing of value could be gained from Trump speaking in our parliament and I’d hate to see it happen.
It’d be an incoherent rant that’d bounce between his whining about Biden, how „Ireland isn’t Ireland anymore“ that’d only stir up the far right again, and if there was false shite about Connolly not applauding Zelensky, wait til anyone with a conscience refused to applaud Mango Mussolini’s stream of preschool consciousness.

That’s the problem, he should have issues having a fella named in the Epistien files giving speech in Oireachtas next year. Showing political tolerance to people like Trump will create an image that you can be someone that bad and still be respected in Ireland politically.

An Irish person with the criminal history of trump, would firstly be refused a green card and secondly, if they were lucky refused entry at Dublin Airport or unluckily get in and then be sent to an ice facility in mainland USA before being deported to god knows where.
