I’m not surprised. I don’t think people understand how bad this is. I just tried to share what I found in Portland and people think this is a big joke. I don’t think it’s a joke.

If this is real, a lot of these items are extremely arbitrary, with the question being: who defines these things? and how do they define them? are they filtering internet profiles through an AI to accomplish this? I would imagine so

Unless I am mistaken, an NSPM (National Security Presidential Memorandum) is not a proposal. It is a directive. It is an order from the executive, the commander-in-chief, to the entire apparatus of the national security state.
It does not require the approval of Congress. It does not require a vote. It is a bypassing of the normal, political process.

The government and its agencies already do this literally every day. Isn’t the whole idea to prevent terrorism before it happens? That doesn’t make it a ‘precrime’, turns out planning to commit a terrorist attack, or murder, IS a crime.
