This is interesting simply because of the history of this conflict. I know that the nation of Bangladesh is very active in peacekeeping formation around the world. I remember that one of the veterans of the Bosnian war said that some of your fellow nationals saw snow for the first time and experienced what winter is and most were complaining that they never felt cold such as this. Your father was stationed and interacted mostly with ARBiH (Army of the Republic of Bosnian & Herzegovina) which was majorly compromised of Bosnian Muslims (now Bosniaks) in the historical Krajina region of Bosnia & Herzegovina which has a different culture from the rest of country in some way…wonder if he ever encountered the „autonomaši“ essentially rebel Bosniaks that were led by Fikret Abdić since I know that they operated in and around the town of Cazin fighting against ARBiH with the support of VRS (Army of Republic of Srpska). Here’s the deal, there is no Bosnian nation, you have these three ethnic groups: Bosniaks (exclusively non-denominational Muslims), Croats (exclusively Christian-Roman Catholic) and the Serbs (exclusively Christian-Orthodox). This is one of the most interesting posts on this Reddit…cheers mate!
