I don’t think he takes himself seriously. In Turkey we have a lot of Azeri jokes. Like that Azeris refer to businessmen as pezevenk or that Azeri armed forces are called Yarraklı Kuvvetler. Everyone knows these are not true but they’re still funny. The inverted e by itself is like a meme too.
