People don’t complain about small things. The idea is that someone else always has it harder. Be grateful for what you have. Living close to nature also increases well-being.

It is not happy-happy-joy-joy type of happiness, but more about of being content with the current state of affairs. Institutional trust is one of the big things contributing to it.

Far less racism here in Finland than there is in my home country’s noisy neighbour of England. So that’s a plus in my book.

Most of things around you work. Services, infrastructure,etc. Things are well kept by taxes. Social safety nets are in place. The welfare states generally works. Could be better, sure. But each time I go back to my native country, 2 days I all I need to go „I am so lucky to live in Finland“
