The current populist agenda for immigration/demographic crisis is 100% reliant on there being always a new population around the world that can be exploited until their country gets somewhat back on their feet. Run away from poverty/war/famine, work your perse off and f off back home as soon as you can.

Think now about immigrant workers trying to integrate and tick the boxes government has set for being allowed to stay here. Foreigners have a massive learning curve when they come here.
It used to be that the union’s shop steward and other would visit new employees to help them understand the way things work. Letting them know that this kind of thing is a risk they take petsonally might be valuable information to new arrivals but that’s up to Finns to convey. You cannot blame immigrants for not knowing the system.
