Oh yeah, I can totally see how that will make the US so much safer and better. 🤦

Is this the kind of America you want? SCOTUS needs to rein in ICE.

I’m no expert on creating a totalitarian regime out of a Constitutional Republic, but I would think that you save the arresting of grandmothers and schoolteachers and school superintendents until at least the second year in.
Come on, people: are we really going to let these morons take our country away from us?

Ah yes. More of the worst of the worst.

ICE members are so inept they can only arrest sedentary non-harmful individuals. They are unable to go after drug dealers, murders, traffickers because those people don’t hang around at donut shops.
ICE can only confront elderly small humans.

> ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations St. Paul Field Office Director Sam Olson said in a statement Robertson’s arrest should be a “wake-up call for our communities to the great work that our officers are doing every day to remove public safety threats.”
> Roberts was named Des Moines Public Schools superintendent in 2023, according to the district’s website. He was “born to immigrant parents from Guyana, and spent most of his formative years in Brooklyn, NY,” the website reads.
>Before becoming an educator, the superintendent was an Olympic athlete and competed in track and field at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
ICE seems like the only public safety threat, here.

I’ll keep saying it: The police, regardless of what you think, are 100% helping the trump adminsitration.
The city police could easily go arrest the federal agents who arrested him for kidnapping. I don’t care what DHS says, the man was granted an I9 from the fucking federal government and now they are saying he is illegal.
Will ICE have to start taking children from their schools or shooting our neighbors in the streets for us to wake up? There are more of us than there are of them.
Furthermore, everyone who is a POC, an immigrant, or not MAGA SHOULD be carrying a gun at this point. The same federal government that is chasing people down is the same government saying certain groups can’t own firearms.

This one is a bit trickier and I’m super anti ice. The guy overstated a visa in 2020, a judge rules him to be deported in 2024, and he has a weapons charge against him (prior to this incident.
How did someone without work authorization become the superintendent?
