    1. *Ignores the millions of people wanting the Epstein files released*

Finally! This is what I’ve been waiting for.

I don’t give a shit about the Epstein files now.

It was the Underpants Gnomes. They mistakenly took her flight check list thinking it was a pair of Y fronts.

Thank you for your attention to this matter….and no other matters. Please look over here at this matter only.

“Amelia Earhart flew a lot of airplanes, except for that time that she never came back…and then there’s Maude!”

    7. This comment section is so stupid, there’s entire subs dedicated to that topic — use them if you wanna whine about something entirely unrelated, this is kind of interesting because she might have been shot down and they classified it

You know, even if this WERE true its funny to think the information is out there just waiting for someone to finally go “you know what, everyone should know what happened instead of speculating and have conspiracy theories like 100 years later”.

If we truly have this information just make it public? Like wtf? I can at least KINDA see why they wouldnt release JFK stuff, stuff like that cause its more a serious crime, etc. but stuff like this? Come on, just release it in full on some easily accessible website and move on.

Crossing my fingers that the Lindberg baby files get released next.

Why is the government allowed to keep secrets from people in the first place!? Whose government is it?

      And don’t say „National Security.“

If you allow a government to hide information under the guise of ’national security‘ they will simply hide all of their corruption that way.

Same as if you allow them to break laws during an ‚emergency‘ they will create emergencies to break laws.

The government is allowed to keep secrets from the people because it isn’t *our* government.

She was captured by the Japanese. My ex-wife’s family is guamanian and her father told me that all the POWs from Guam said they saw her in a war camp when they were released after the war.

They said the Japanese had captured a female pilot they thought was a spy and they tortured her to death.

I’m sorry, everyone. I think this is awesome. Now we will know for sure if that is her in the photo from Japan iirc, or one of the land crash sites that was debunked because of whatever it uncovered on the island or happened to her next.
