Its bad when our opiod deaths exceed that of a nations casualties in a real war. And even worse that it isnt even acknowledged.
My opinion – our youth have lost hope and are desperately seeking ways to escape, even if it’s only for a little while.
My brother’s most traumatizing moment as a firefighter was watching a 13-year-old die from overdosing, he suffered so much in his final moments.
It is crazy that overall drug use is actually going down among teens even though overdoses are rising. Just shows how dangerous and ubiquitous fentanyl is becoming.
