Shane Gillis is racist and Marc maron doesn’t know how to get attention on his own doing comedy.

Both of these “comedians” scroll through social media for hours obsessively looking for what opinion to have to get people to pet them on the head and I find it to be frankly pathetic. “Comedians” who don’t know how to garner an audience through comedy need to find a different career.

What a lot of people should be talking about is Pete Davidson’s dad died on 9/11 and now he’s going to the country that’s responsible for his dad’s death? Seriously?

Didn’t think I’d be a Shane MAGA Gillis fan or be proud of Ted Cruz for backing up Jimmy Kimmel, but here we are.

Burr is the one I can’t understand. I really don’t know what his thinking is on this one.

    5. The rest of these losers don’t surprise me but I’m a little disappointed in Bill Burr.

    6. Why do the comedians get all the blame when it should be the government’s job to provide political pressure and does nothing?

Bill Burr is a let down. The rest make sense to me; nothing surprising there.

Why is this a big deal? Should nobody do shows in the US because of the Iraq War?

Idk I have mixed feelings about this. It was Osama Bin Laden, not the government, who attacks us. In fact they hated each other years before the 9/11 attacks.

On the other side there are plenty of other reasons to boycott Saudi Arabia

From the people that killed Pete’s dad, let’s have a round of applause for Pete Davidson

    11. A comedic stand up in Saudi Arabia sounds kinda boring tbh… you cannot make jokes about the government, religion or sex/dating. Are Saudis self deprecating? They all seem deadly serious to me.

Saudi Arabia fund a LOT of American Entertainment and they have done so for a while.

I’m amused that no one in the comments seems to be surprised that Kevin Hart is involved.

Imagine putting on a comedy show for the country that killed your father. That man has absolutely no self respect.

They’re sellouts and money talks. Bye bye moral compass when that wire transfer hits

    16. Meh, sports and other washing by the Mid East is standard now. Saudi and other middle eastern countries own numerous sports teams, venues and many things you consume yourself. I don’t blame these guys from cashing in. There isn’t really any avoiding it. Although a comedy festival is fucking weird in Riyadh! I get it in the UAE where there are loads of expats…

I hope the human race as a whole can stop using „slam“ in news titles like this unless someone ACTUALLY slams somebody through a table or other suitable piece of furniture.

    18. Bill “how bigs your yacht gotta be” Burr is such a wild disappointment

    19. Puzzleheaded_Swan_15 on

am i reading this right.. that they are claiming saudi arabia was responsible for 9/11…

    20. lol at all these people surprised that POS Bill Burr is acting like a POS.

    21. obscureposter on

To be fair, this is mostly on the public for thinking that these people are anything other than court jesters. Bill Burr does one rant on billionaires and everyone was quick to canonize him. Perhaps viewing these guys as normal people rather than moral paragons is the best course of action.

    22. I never know what to expect from Shane. I could have seen him being all about something like this

    23. Im_TroyMcClure on

As shocked and disappointed as I was that Pete Davidson agreed to take part, I’m equally surprised that they even asked him. It’s incredibly well known that his dad was a firefighter that died on 9/11 and it’s all that people will think about when they see him there.
