If Taco Bell was a thing here, this would be perfect for the day after drinking when reheating leftovers (Taco Bell is crap so it makes sense).
I used to live in an apartment that had a shower next to the stove. I could cook breakfast and shower at the same time. I was pretty convenient. I support the bathroom/kitchen combo.
These kinds of funny designs are a result of the „accessability“ (esteettömyys) requirements of the law for apartments in Finland. There needs to be 1.5m wide corridors for moving around or „turning circle“ (diameter 1.5m) spaces for wheelchair in each apartment built (or renovated) etc.. Toilet needs 1.3m turning circle and all shower etc. stuff must be accessible on wheelchair.

It is not possible to make small kitchen, toilet/bathroon, bedroom spaces anymore because they would not fulfill the requirements of the law. Large open spaces are required inside apartments.
