A simple answer for a question nobody asked
Truly one of if not the most important of issues right now. Congratulations!
This was expected, Fico needed something small to please his voters, since his imfamous consolidation is already reaching out even to their wallets. I can already see them, „we have no money for food this month and our local hospital closed down due to lack of staff, but at least we owned the libs.“

How easy is the process to change the slovak constitution, if they went through it just for this.
Only the most important and most fundamental things for the state as a legal institution are in the constitution. That’s what such a document is for.
I sincerely hope the next change in the constitution will establish that beer must only cost one euro and people must only walk on the right side of the pavement.
Too bad biology doesn’t give a shit about that ruling and therefore social defined „only two genders“ make no sense from the beginning.

Does constitutional changes require 2/3 of majority in parliament? That means opposition needs to give support ?
For example The case of country of North Macedonia when the national name change applied required 2/3 majority for constitutional changes
I will never understand why any country wants to legislate on people being what gender they want. It’s literally a non-issue.
This is going to lead to more intersexual people geting mutilated at birth right?

On the other hand, there is no equivalent of „gender“ in Slovak. They probably just voted for „sex (biological)“ being „male and female“. If people would like to discuss gender, they would have to use the english word „gender“ instead of sex forevermore.

To correct you, it’s about 2 sexes, not genders. But yeah, everything else is 100% working in this country and we have no other issues going on. Certainly not rising taxes, extreme corruption and collapsing economy. Not an issue here. Everyone is super rich and we have also cured all diseases.
