You’d hope someone of the money going into the economy from this big event will be used towards bettering the country though. But with us being one of the biggest contributors to the EU it’ll all probably be sent out to Eastern Europe so they can build new roads in Lithuania

I think the mural was to celebrate/represent 200 years of Brazilian independence or something like that – but it being covered over with a big stupid NFL thing is ridiculous anyway. Could have commissioned something relevant to contribute to the surrounds rather than advertising a game about 3 people in Ireland watch.

FF and FG aren’t even bothering to conceal their contempt for the Irish people anymore. Because they know that people will keep voting for them no matter what they do or do not do.
There are over 15,000 homeless people in Ireland, a third of which are children. That shouldn’t be acceptable. At all.

The mural was covered already before the nfl one.

Honestly what the fuck is happening to our country

Soulless, monotone stencil of an unpopular activity covers up poignant, expressive commentary mural of social circumstance. Americanisation in a nutshell.

Not only is it shite artwork. It’s depicting such a shite sport.
I definitely love when games break out during the advertising event.

This country bums off america so much, might as well be the 51st state at this point.

The pandering towards yanks for cash does my head in. Bending over backwards to lick arse and keep those dollars rolling in every year. No way of knowing I suppose, but I’d say the percentage of actual native born Dubliners who want this yearly NFL bollox is incredibly low.
Anecdotal of course, but I haven’t met a single person who thinks any of this is anything other than a cashgrab pain in the arse. I’m sure all the yank tech and finance workers who flood these subs enjoy it, maybe greedy publicans in Temple Bar, who seem to favour tourist money over locals anyway, or anyone whos making a bit of coin out of it in general, but the majority of actual Dubliners trying to go about their day? Dont think so.

The government in a nutshell
The mural had been graffitied over already.
