      Obsessed with geopolitics at the expense of being an advocate for good values and vibes in Ireland (the country she is seeking to become President of).

      Campaign completely fucked due to alienating the centre. Mick and Claire, Germany is in 1930s, US imperialism, Can’t objectively criticise Russia without the token US bad guy too argument. This isn’t college politics. If you want to be a president that radical you’d better bloody well be a cuddlesome grandad gnome poet, too. She isn’t. She’s blown it.

      Who is pressuring Brazil on a domestic criminal trial. The yanks.

      Any number of countries the yanks have their nose in.

      Exactly! Neutrality isn’t ignoring one country’s abuses just because they happen to be an enemy of another country that is also breaking international laws and causing conflict

      But if you look and listen to her interviews ove the past few years, she is absolutely nuts!
      Her Geopolitical outlook is like she’s been living in a different dimension!

      Anyone who seeks to mock this very reasoned and true statement (look up any history of the world since WW2) must first reveal what financial institution they work for, then they are free to say whatever you like.

      USA and Russia are Imperial powers, but she thinks Germany rearming is akin to 1930s Nazi Germany and we in Ireland should disarm and have no military or defensive capacity.

      In what world is she wrong? Trump’s bananas. Doesn’t mean Putin isn’t an incorrigible bastard, but her words aren’t wrong here, even if her intentions aren’t in the right place.

      We thought she was being led astray by Gemma, Mick and Claire in a case of bad friends influence in a few minutes of foolishness. Now it is starting to look like she has been a true believer in the conspiracies all along.

      I don’t understand why she appears to be such a tankie.

      Like, she criticises the west, NATO, the US, etc so hard, but then she barely says a peep about all manner of authoritarian regimes or other conflicts around the world.

      If pressed she’ll usually blame both sides but she always goes so hard with the anti-western attitude.

      IMO that kind of person is precisely who shouldn’t be elected at a time when the Europe needs to close ranks and stand together against other powers like the US, Russia or a China.

      Well Christ, she’s not wrong, and this has been true throughout the lifetime of everyone here, surely.

      Still this is agonising. Wish to God she’d not stood for election, as she has work to do.
