Indonesia has, on the whole, become much more liberalized and westernized size the mid-90s. They’re also an economy that’s growing dramatically. So in that sense, they are a like minded people who we probably should be allying with and there is a lot of economic upside to this.

Maybe we can do some panda-diplomacy and trade some beavers for some orangs or something.
