When the country was at its economic peak the rich paid many many times what they pay now, and did so without throwing temper tantrums because at the end of the day they’re still filthy rich. Now? Must. Hoard. Wealth. And to top it off we have a major political party that managed to convince blue collar Americans to fight for them(the 1%) not to pay. Its actually insane
