I really want to get rid of my online presence but its so hard. I have a friend who has no form of social media and his life is so good it makes me wonder what’s the point. He knows the big stuff that’s happening but everything else is basically alien to him. He lives life without worry, he doesn’t care about anything other than his own life. And to me thats powerful.

Right on. I had this vague notion since i was a teenager that numbers are the top of the foodchain because of profit, but i barely had any idea how this played out in the world until the last few years.

Everything we created and know is mapped as data now. The data is a copy, but plugged in to any suggesting vessel manages to dictate to the original and influence how the original moves. Like a mirror that can take control of whatever is reflected in it, confusing and making the viewer copy what the mirror projects. We even act as these mirrors upon each other. The way our stuff shows up in the world is dictated by a computer through us from the top down, everything. A completely unconscious computer, runaway calculations, automatic fulfillments of things WE introduce from our LIMITED awareness, never from places of fulfilled consciousness, always from seeking to be told.

So the computer is controlling everything we created, but we are not the one’s choosing how we interact with it or why because we’re mostly being automatically reactionary and don’t break the pace and think for ourselves first. We should act according to our decisions based on thorough conscious reasoning, instead of according to pressures from culture and people, even to the exclusion of reading to find the answers in more cases than not. That takes independence, courage, determination, willingness to be vulnerable and to learn. Being in receptive conscious state without imposed designs, where you can actually find God.

Being automatically reactionary is a huge issue, and we’re reactionary for a lot of reasons, one of the biggest ones being that it’s so easy to trigger and control us through identity; the more strongly attached to identity we are the more automatically we defend it and ourselves when identity is scrutinised. Politics has been a powerful tool for locking people into identitys and what they will associate with and depend on, according to whether it flatters that identity or humiliates it (us).

Right now the unconscious remote control of algorithmns (some that were embedded so long ago they no longer need to be physically issued to engage us, theyre a part of how we automatically run in accordance to sociability) is shaping individuals and their interactions with one another, and controlling us through how we interact. Statistical profit data is „deciding“ how humans must behave to fulfill profit and actualise market potentials, using algorithmns to prompt how we engage to follow the route that leads to profits. But really it is US deciding to follow it, to engage, under influence. We have the freedom to disengage. But mostly we are afraid of the (usuaully social) consequences.

It (venture for profit) is just using everything we are made of against us all, to be against each other and against ourselves subconsciously undermining our own health. We barely know what we are made of, but the calculations have incorporated every single last bit of data that reflects what we are made of, to control us while we are unaware of how we work. We dont even notice it controlling us because we are so unfamiliar with what even makes us how we are, how our minds and bodies work.

My personal experience in education systems reserved for different classes of people has revealed to me that the more affluent/wealthy you are and the more exclusive circles you run in according to wealth and status, the more controlled you are. Everyone at every rung of society is caught up in this, but people with less exclusive/less restrictive associations are much closer to freedom and being capable of breaking out of automation, the level at which they engage in automation, while still saturating, is not nearly as entrenched, suffocating and drowning of full consciousness as the conditions rich and elite people exist under. There are DEEPER reasons why it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than a rich person enter into the kingdom of heaven; they are just so much further away and actively walking in the opposite direction. The rest of us just get dragged into the gravity of their amassed control, which we add to by giving them our bodies and minds to use for their profit generation.

can any of you point me in the right direction i am writing a paper on human AI relationships and i have a meme archive and this is going in it with a huge write up about recursion existing pre-internet. any idea of where i can look to verify some of the claims written about here? im looking for early examples of semi autonomouos intelligence systems pre-internet like SAGE or PROMIS.
