In the past I know of cosmonauts who have died and they went unreported, during the age of secrecy. Those where humans. How many animals are alive on this vessel?

    2. Aww only 30 days. I was hoping it was like 30 years in orbit, then quickly forgotten, and naturally deorbited.

And then out spawn 3 million mice and 3 billion flies.

This is the inciting incident of a late 1980s monster movie, all of them get mutated by solar radiation and slaughter/consume the recovery team, multiple small villages, then a city has to fight them off before deciding their only choice to stop them is to lure the monsters into the nuclear reactor building and force a meltdown worse than Chernobyl, those inside nobly sacrificing themselves, their city and the surrounding wilderness to stop the greater threat.

Sequel hook at the end, a hideous mouse-fly hybrid forms in the ruins, feeding on the corium remains of the reactor.

This mission brought to you in part by Waste Management, RAID (a Johnson & Johnson Company), and Better MouseTraps.com („we don’t just trap ‚em, we snap ‚em!“)

Good experiment. We’re going to need to figure out how to bring mice and flies with us when we colonize other planets.
