Could transnistria be taken? Putins plan was / is to push through to it then satellite Moldova . Would be poetic justice if taken, albeit at risk of overextension.
Moldova should request nato troops and Ukraine and nato can surround Transnistria.
European countries need to get up their asses and strengthen their militaries.
It’d mostly be a propaganda victory for Russia, there’s nothing and (almost) no one in Moldova. It’s literally the poorest country in Europe. Only 2.4 million inhabitants. Not really any resources or industries to speak of.
I don’t wish Russian invaders onto anyone no matter if they’re rich, poor, small, resource rich, whatever. But let’s not overstate the importance of Moldova. I have nothing against them personally of course!
Well in the real world the Europe can afford to lose it but at the same time we should allocate resources to retain it
Mean Moldova is it’s own country, if their population listens to Russian influence then that is what they will do.
