Ich recherchiere für ein Filmprojekt über die Geschichte der Unabhängigkeit Litauens und fand dieses Buch über eBay. Ich hätte die Details lesen sollen, denn wie sich herausstellt, ist es nur jemand, der Artikel aus Wikipedia und Selbstverlagung kopiert/einfügt. Sehr enttäuscht, weil ich ein paar gute Bücher zu diesem Thema möchte. Ich habe ein anderes Buch gefunden, die Rekonstruktion von Nationen von Timothy Snyder, was legitiver ist. Würde einige Empfehlungen für englischsprachiges Material über Litauens Unabhängigkeit von der sowjetischen Herrschaft lieben.

I would look for Lithuanian historians
*Reconstruction of Nations* by Timothy Snyder is great, *Bloodlands* by Timothy Snyder is also another must read. *Gulag* and *Iron Curtain* by Anne Applebaum are not strictly about Lithuania but also another must read, her focus is Poland but all the systems of repression she describes are applicable to Lithuania.
If you want medieval sources, *The Northern Crusades* by Eric Christiansen is quite good.
If you want historical fiction, check out *Between shades of Gray* by Ruta Sepetys.
