He’s back and better than ever!
I’m guessing they ran out of time for Matt Damon because of all of this.
ive never watched his show before but i did last night.
So much for the “lowest ratings, even lower than Colbert” dig Trump lobbed at him.
The idea that 1.7 million (his previous average) is considered low ratings in this high competition era is just disinformation. Most shows on network television have declined ratings over the last 10 years, its obviously because young people watch streaming now.
The YouTube video of his monologue from last night hit a million views in the first hour (which is something for a video being uploaded so late at night), and his channel has gained over a quarter million followers in the time since its posting. Streisand Effect in effect.
1.77 million – oof. If that is a surge – late night is dead
I’m not the biggest Kimmel fan but of course I had to watch last night. He was thrown off air for no good reason. We had to see what he was going to say. It still blows my mind that they thought they could get away with just taking his show off air.
HIs video is at like 10million on youtube. insane.
Now you know all the people are going to be this was entirely a publicity stunt to get him more ratings. They will not talk about how it was all a weird mess.

Trump is the king at promoting his enemies.
Most people hadn’t heard Jimmy’s initial comment until Trump made a big deal about it. I’d bet the majority of viewers last night hadn’t seen any late night TV in over a year.
He did it again at the UN with that escalator. I would’ve never heard about it until he got up in front of the UN to talk about it, then I got to laugh at his goofy ass getting embarrassed (I wouldn’t have assumed anyone would be embarrassed by a faulty escalator until he basically admitted it).
He shouldn’t have come back. Centrist Dems always caving. The people stood up for Jimmy and what did he do? Came back for the check. Disgusting
Trump does for kimmel what Putin did for nato
