~~Lol he missed that and it flew into a tree for some reason. Looked like none of his shots were particularly close?~~
Corrected – definitely hit something important.

Perhaps one of the pellets severed the Fibre wire connection? Might explain why it stopped maneuvering

He didn’t immediately reload?

Your man’s done the wire on that one. Or it was jammed/lost connection for other reasons which happens a lot.
Either way, everybody lives another day and you’d take that under the circumstances.
Cannot imagine many things more terrifying than having to shoot down an oncoming drone before it arrives.

That is some very high-stakes sporting clays. Perhaps we should start adding clays shooting to basic training…

Daym, that looks like great sport! High risk and high reward. Shotguns really are the best defense against those nasty hornets.

I wonder when they’ll get automatic systems to shoot down drones much more accurately than a guy with a shotgun. Some sort of fire control with radar seems like it should work. A fire control computer would more easily compensate for things like drone velocity than a human.

Does anyone know what’s being used shotgun wise for drones? Ammo/rounds, gun, whatever. I’ve been out shooting clay targets, and im just trying to put myself in the shoes of shooting at a drone. Are the drones being used, tough? Or can you take most out with a good shot?
I hope this doesn’t somehow come off pretentious. I just like imagining.

Love to give him credit but unless he winged it I’m pretty sure it hit the tree.
