Let’s have a war, forget about Epstein.

Here’s a real non-circle jerk comment:
Trump is reading the tea leaves. 6 months ago, Trump told Zelenskyy „You don’t have the cards“. And Trump wasn’t completely wrong at the time. Ukraine was getting pushed back repeatedly. To this day, Russia is still gaining Ukrainian territory every month.
But now that Russian momentum seems to be slowing. Ukraine is hitting back hard at Russia with homegrown weapons that are targeting the lifeblood of the Russian economy. Russia is being forced to react and spread already low anti-air supplies even thinner. This has allowed Ukraine to „pop Russia in the jaw“ a few times. Until some new flavor is introduced, Russia doesn’t appear to have an answer for this recent Ukrainian counterattack. Russia’s economy is in tatters and the military is stalled and aimless. Whatever Ukraine has done in the last 6 months, they seem to have found „some cards“
Now is absolutely not the time to allow Russia to fly in on „protected routes“ using NATO airspace. I agree with Trump on this issue. These drones/planes blatantly violating airspace should be shot down. It is Russia’s responsibility to not fly military aircraft over hostile airspace on a whim.
Trump did say this. However, Secretary of State Marco Rubio contradicted him. Little Marco Rubio said that European countries could only intercept Russian combat aircraft in their airspace and escort them back to Russia..The Trump Administration can’t make up its mind on this issue and many others. Policy pronouncements issued by the Trump Administration are chaotic and ever changing. The reliability of Trump’s America as an ally is always in doubt, not only in Europe but also in the Indo-Pacific region.
President Trump needs to give Putin one more chance to make peace and if he doesn’t, then have NATO arm the Ukrainian military with the good weapons from the US and drive them out!!
Any headline that starts with any variation of “Trump says…” can be safely ignored.

Of course, shoot down „paper flyers“ with multi million euro missiles. That is what Putin wants. Bind and waste our resources instead of supporting Ukraine.
If I didn’t have any empathy or concern over future consequences, I’d be saying the same thing.
When NATO starts a war with Russia, and Europe is getting bombed, there’ll be no repercussions for Trump; so what does he care? 🏌️♂️⛳
Edit: Now that I think about it, Trump’s big fantasy was to return America to the post-WW2 manufacturing dominance which was achieved because — Europe was destroyed and had to rebuild itself.
I don’t think he’s smart enough to realize it; but a full-blown war in Europe would help him achieve some of his economic goals
