    1. So far, everything is for sale in America, politics are a playground for the rich. It’s not going to get any better.

    2. I’m a history buff and I usually push back against all of these „Trump is most blah blah blah President in U.S. history,“ but this one actually fits.

Pffft…what makes you say that? The bribes? The harassment/firing of people who look into the bribes? Why are you still focused on that, Is that really all it takes to say that it’s corrupt? /s

Trump is the new „little boot“ (Caligula). With all that that entails. Repeating history because we didn’t learn from it.

    5. In other news, “The sky is blue, but conservatives deny this, calling it a “heinous and nasty allegation”

Just think about the shit we don’t know anything about he surrounding himself with vipers

It used to be that corruption was hidden. Now it’s a matter of pride for them.

    8. The thing people don’t seem to understand is THEY (The admin, his supporters) ARE HAPPY WITH THAT. They LIKE unfair advantages (for themselves), they like back room deals, they like being able to pay to have the government turn a blind eye (to pollution, illegal insider dealings, their own immigrant labor [but raid the other guy])

So to an immoral person who lives by lying, who believes might makes right and believes EVERYONE IS LYING/CHEATING JUST AS MUCH AS ME OR MORE THEY JUST WONT ADMIT IT this administration is finally acting with good sense out in the open and working 100% as intended. In fact they think it was ALWAYS this way, only difference is now it’s their guy on top and he isn’t even trying to pretend to be „fair“ which they think is for suckers and losers.

We know that. So does the whole world including Republicans who suck their thumb while it occurs.

    10. This is the part I can’t get my mind around. I get it that there’s hypocrisy in politics; always has been, always will be. However for 10+ years all we’ve heard is how corrupt the democrats in congress are, how the Biden crime family blah blah blah.

The Trump family (while in power) have created literal shit coins where it’s virtually impossible to know who is buying in. Then rug pulling. This one scheme has amounted to billions in revenue for Trump. The buyers could be anyone.

But hey tell me more about how Nancy Pelosi insider trades to the tune of millions (which don’t get me wrong should be illegal) or how Hunter Biden should be in jail because he made a few hundred thousand dollars from an energy company.

There’s corruption on all fronts when it comes to politicians, regardless of tie color. But this administration is so transparently corrupt on a scale I dont believe we’ve ever seen and hopefully will never see again. There are countless examples of trumps corruption but everyone seems a ok with it. There’s so much about this administration that is horrific, but the acceptance of blatant corruption will never make sense to me.

    11. And has been in plain sight. He’s a criminal and he placed criminals that were loyal to him all around him. Ther’re nothing more than organized crime. That can’t last forever.

New Republic is proving well worth the $10/year I pay for it. Less than a month of certain streaming services.

    13. And it’s not even close.

The Teapot Dome scandal was considered one of the most monumental corruption scandals in US History and is one of the primary talking points (along with the onset of the Great Depression) of the Harding administration, a black mark that followed it around forever and that every High School student is taught in even the most rudimentary US History classes.

It’s practically quaint by modern standards. His Secretary of the Interior, Albert Fall, awarded leases to oil companies after the oil companies bribed him. Illegal AF – and Fall was eventually convicted and sent to prison for it – but it’s the sort of thing that Trump has been doing openly and without consequence. He’s averaged about a Teapot-Dome-level scandal per month in office.

    14. He’s never going to have to win an election again. In 3 years he’s either gone because he can’t run or he finds some way to refuse to leave. He’s free to be as openly corrupt as he wants to be.

Instead of punishing snake-oil salesmen Americans put them in positions of power.

There will need to be drastic correction to this chosen backwardness.

*Red Sun in the Sky starts playing in background*

NO! NOT THAT TYPE OF CORRECTION!

    16. You don’t need the quotation marks around the most corrupt administration in US history, New Republic.

It is wild how people can still defend this administration when the evidence is right in front of them. Cognitive dinossance is real
