Currently, /r/ Conservative is still on Charlie Kirk and is posting articles about how how his death is leading to ‚way more Republican registrations‘ on top of degenerate 4Chan memes, as well as bizarre statements about how they’re ‚done talking to liberals.‘

Republicans refuse to believe the reality that he was a piece of shit and that liberals aren’t going out and shooting up places, so they replaced it with their own narrative so they don’t have to answer the „are we the baddies“ question?

Notably, I don’t see anyone getting raptured today, so that speaks loads about them now doesn’t it?

Because he is a hero to plenty on the right, what with all the clips of him ‚owning the libs‘. Plus, it behooves the Republicans to push him as a martyr and use his assassination as an excuse to continue the Project 2025 agenda.

    4. Because MSM is all owned by people who back magas at the moment and they refuse to report on his actual positions on things.

And how ironic that makes his death.

Orwell said it best: He who controls the past, controls the future. He who controls the present, controls the past.

      >Charlie Kirk was a divisive far-right podcaster. Why is he being rebranded as a national hero?

Charlie Kirk may have been spewing total trash views but he is pure gold for the Republican-MAGA establishment because his death is single-handedly being used to make America completely forget that their President fucks children for money.

      **Release the unredacted Epstein files.**

Because to far-right Christian white supremacists, he is their national hero.

Because they realized not only are Americans too dumb to read, they now cannot be expected to listen to countless clips that show Kirk for what he truly was, a bigot and sensationalist that found a way to monetize „debating“ college kids in heavily edited „OWNED ANOTHER LIB“ montages.

It was clear after that tragic shooting that many in America are aching for a reason to murder people. Hateful, violent, demeaning posts flourished all over.

Threats issued to anyone who „celebrated his death.“

Nothing helps mourn the loss of a supposed champion of free speech like denying the free speech of others, what a way to honor their martyr.

I don’t know where y’all have been, but it turns out the majority of people are stupid

    11. Because Republicans are using his death as an excuse to go after even more of our liberties and rights.

Because rightwingers and Republicans are sick, delusional and disingenuous propagandists?!? Did I win?🏆

    13. It fits the narrative.

It is abundantly clear in trumps response immediately after and during the memorial, that Trump could not care less about Charlie Kirk.

However, Charlie Kirk was popular, right wing and a „Man of God“. His death was senseless, public and violent.

Kirk has a huge following. It doesn’t matter which spin you are seeing. One where he was murdered for his views, or that this was left-wing violence. His death allowed for the right wing to point a finger to the left and say „you did this“. To further this, those who may not mourn Charlie Kirk in the „correct“ way are also radical.

Promoting him to a hero, is an opportunity to paint those who disagreed with Charlie Kirk as problematic and immoral.

Because, generally speaking, conservatives are pandering morons pandering to morons.

    15. OP, he’ll be forgotten in year. Kirk’s legacy was one of fallacy and grift, wrapped in faux-patriotism and anti-intellectualism. MAGA isn’t upset he’s dead, they’re upset they lost a young leader they were grooming for leadership.
