    1. How was he sitting? Article says:

      >The MTA said that the way O’Keefe was sitting was breaking an MTA rule because he had both of his legs stretched across an adjacent seat, which was documented by on-board security camera video, per the MTA statement.

Seems like a simple „Hey, no feet on the seats,“ would have been sufficient.

      “What are you in for?”

*tells everyone, and then they move away from the hardened maniac*

The video of the arrest is insane, he’s asking why he’s being arrested, gets told he is „resisting arrest“- wtaf, for god’s sake?????

Wow, I wish my local trains took the ’no feet on seats‘ rule seriously.

    5. What a waste of public resources to register a complaint over something so minor. Has the woman who complained ever even taken public transportation? I’ve seen way worse unfold in front of me on these streets. Show patience, exercise caution and life goes on!

If she is disabled, elderly, disabled then it’s understandable to be upset about not having access to seating. Otherwise there are much larger hills to die on than “I don’t like this guy manspreading”.
