    1. The floorcrosser curse has struck again. It seemed inevitable she might get booted after what happened weeks after the last election.

    2. Although no reason is yet given, I think it should be noted that [Sturko was the subject of the leaked internal memo](https://www.wltribune.com/news/bc-conservative-leader-faces-test-after-colleagues-letter-attacks-surrey-mla-7692482), signed by 13 MLAs, that attacked Sturko for criticizing a Vancouver Police Board member for making racist and transphobic comments.

In other words, they’ve removed a moderate voice in the caucus and this would please the bigots.

      From Rob Shaw on Twitter:

      > “Conservative MLA @MLABrennanDay openly critical of @JohnRustad4BC for kicking @elenoresturko out of caucus saying it is shortsighted and not the way to grow the party”

      > I think if we’re going to broaden the party that’s definitely a short sighted move“ – @MLABrennanDay on @elenoresturko firing. Won’t say going into caucus meeting if he supports @JohnRustad4BC. “Certainly not a good decision for the longevity of the party.“

Day was formerly a BC Liberal candidate and just barely won last year

She is the more moderate voice in the BC Conservatives Party. I guess they really don’t like former BC Liberals.

Scary the last election was 50/50. I don’t want a Danielle Smith like person to be the Premier of BC

FTA: “Sturko, the outspoken former public safety critic for the party, said Rustad accused her of plotting against his leadership…”

Movements like these always tear themselves apart, eventually. The trick is to minimize the damage they do before this happens.
