There needs to be some results going into the home stretch of their first term though, or the PC’s will make it close with their „They didn’t fix things, vote us in and we’ll show you the meaning of not fixing things“
Despite some minor missteps from Kinew’s NDP, they’ve been pretty decent so far at least at appearing to be making good on their promises.
Meanwhile Stefanson’s PCs left a horrible taste in the mouths of the province, especially after the explanation she gave for her key campaign plank of **not** searching the landfill for murdered indigenous women turned out to be completely bogus.
Considering the popularity of Kinew and his government I guess Obby Khan and whoever the next pc leader after that is basically a sacrificial lamb
The MDNP just came within a percent of winning a byelection in a previously 30+% ultra-safe PC district. If that is at all reflected across the rest of the province, the MNDP are on track to increase their majority while the PCs might get one of their worst results ever.
