‚Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne says that „Canada should be prepared for a generational investment“ as the federal government tees up its next budget, set to be presented in early November. Meanwhile, the Conservatives are waiting for clarity before deciding on support.‘
Liberal, Tory. Same old story? Poilievre’s CPC will fall in line with the Carney government budget quicker than autumn leaves.

It’s about time. Our youth have been shortchanged for too long, and considering our demographic cliff that’s not likely to change unless we make it a priority. Expand the GDP, reopen opportunities to future generations that have long been taken for granted by past generations but then have been largely denied.
Long overdue, and one of the primary reasons that hopelessness is expanding amongst our domestic youth.

Generational investment for private industry and billionaires and generational austerity for the working class.
Trudeau’s investments into the CRA were a major improvement to Canada. They generated far more revenue than they costed. This government is so fiscally irresponsible by cutting the CRA that I cannot believe for a moment that these cuts are for the betterment of the working class or the country.
They are starving the system and trying to sell it for parts to the very people that are responsible for the cost of living crisis.

A reminder that this generational investment will be all debt financed so once again it is the Millenials downwards that will pick up the tab

Don’t worry it will just be a bunch of bailouts for the oligarchs to keep “investing” in low skilled jobs they will fill with TFW and LMIA requests.

These comments are so annoying. Nobody has seen the details of the budget but seemingly everyone knows what the outcomes are gonna be.
