Wait until the Russians fly planes in American airspace and threaten American citizens…. Then he’ll REALLY roll up his sleeves.

Yeah, right. No one should count on Trump for anything other than money for Trump.

I’m sure Trump will want money up front from Poland and the Baltic countries if Russia advances onto their territories. „I’d like to help you but you have to pay me, the greatest President of all time.“ Or, something like that.

    5. Read it as defund instead of defend. As the rate US is going defund might be more realistic than defend.

      When it actually happens:

Trump: „Well, it was just a accidental attack from Russia. Those bombers over Warsaw were meant to go to Kiev. They thought they were over Kiev. Seriously. A mistake can happen.“

From any other US president these words would actually be reassuring. But Trump has repeatedly shown the world that his words mean absolutely nothing. Does he expect anyone to take him seriously when he’s constantly flip-flopping on serious topics?

      What a fucking clown.

    8. next week: poland started all this!… the war started in poland in 1989, and usa will defend russia from all this polish agression… in fact: we will make preemptive strikes on warsaw, unless poland will build a statue to Trump and will give up the coast line to build resorts on… #winning

He talks a big game but guaranteed to deliver a shit sandwich. Without the bread.

    13. Wanna Bet ? Trump will never stop Putin’s wars on democratic countries ! The remaining NATO will have to take the lead. EU countries can assist NATO. Don’t expect anything from Trump.

    14. That’s really great to hear

Can’t wait to see what his stance is on it later tonight when he starts sundowning and changes his mind 20 times overnight

    15. Vows from Trump are about as meaningful as vows from Putin these days.
Empty words from an empty headed criminal.
      Where are the Epstein files?

In August the administration told Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania that the US would be scaling back security assistance. Trump lies and is not reliable.

    17. What’s he gonna do, give Putin a 2 week deadline for the 3rd month going.

    18. Let me tell you, man. As someone in Finland, neighbour to Russia. Nothing makes me feel safer than the word of a madman running a fucking circus. What a joke. The man’s word is *worthless*.

    19. You know it’s bullshit, I know it’s bullshit, Putin knows it’s bullshit. Why give him the headline?

    20. Trump cut some military aid to the baltic countries. US has also stopped some arms sales to allies. Trumps actions are the opposite of what he says.

      https://apnews.com/article/pentagon-security-funding-baltics-russia-099050548a8aab5b086b36d7f6bb1203

Confusion emerged Friday over Trump administration plans to halt some security assistance funding to European countries along the border with Russia, with some Baltic defense leaders saying they have not received official notification.

Pentagon funding for programs that provide training and equipment to reinforce security would be cut, according to a person familiar with the discussions and a congressional aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter. It wasn’t clear exactly how much money would be affected, though it could be hundreds of millions of dollars.

It includes funding under Section 333 and the Baltic Security Initiative, which helps finance weapons purchases by countries on NATO’s eastern flank — including of U.S. systems — as well as ammunition, special forces training and intelligence support.

A vow from Trump is about as valuable as sunglasses in a pitch dark cave.
