they don’t say if it would still take more electricity to do the process then the fuel created provides.
Plastic waste can already be used as fuel. It just smells really bad.

There’s a guy on Instagram with what appears to be a pressure canner and a still in his barn claiming to have the same capability. All of his followers keep commenting, „he’s not suicidal“ on his posts.
How is this any different from burning it in an electric power plant? Except less efficient?
