In a Cassandra-worthy clip that’s gone viral, Buttigieg told a questioner during last year’s presidential campaign that free speech would be under threat in the U.S. because Trump “wants to revoke the licenses of television networks that broadcast coverage that he disagrees with.”
“I can’t think of a more direct attack on the freedom of speech than a government official, or a wannabe government official, saying, ‘I want to punish a television network because of their journalism.’”
It doesn’t take a lot of predicting power to understand Trump; he cannot stand criticism, his ideology is himself, he is the state. The only principle is the self.
We all knew this was inevitable, this article seems to uplift Buttigeg standing for future positions

Buttigieg nailed it last year, Trump’s always been about gagging critics, and now he’s got the FCC pulling Kimmel’s show over a joke. This isn’t free speech, it’s revenge porn for MAGA snowflakes.
