Now, if only the express their agreement at the ballot box in November.

    2. I mean, Texas has already done this gerrymandering. Letting one side cheat without offering up a response is braindead.

The measure is explicit in being a response, and it’s temporary. I can support it while despising gerrymandering. It’s also way more democratic than what Texas has done because voters get to decide it instead of laughably corrupt politicians.

Get it done Gavin. We need fighters now not knee benders. Take the mantle and continue bashing maga over the head with every day.

The ‚two wrongs don’t make a right‘ argument is weak. Newsom isn’t even billing it as trying to make something right. He’s playing the game according to rules his opponents created.

    5. „More than half of California voters back Newsom redistricting plan: Poll“ That is so fucking sad. Memelord Gavin pulled a fast one with his redistricting bullshit. This is a callous exercise in him improving his 2028 position, and nothing else.

He has no answer for when the party of domestic terrorism adds seats in the midterms and Californians are stripped of their hard won redistricting commission because, no doubt, a new emergency redistricting will have to happen because…redistricting. He has no answer that explains why, when he had the chance to strengthen California’s democracy and show the rest of the corpoDems how to break the party of domestic terrorism’s grip, he said that ranked choice voting was „too confusing“.

So, remember this when the feckless and spineless corpoDems don’t deliver on the memelord’s plan, that we are that much closer to a full fledged US Nazi state. Or, wake the fuck up, Californians, and first, vote this down, then primary every single corpoDem at every level of government. They are too dangerous in their uselessness to stay in office.

    6. I imagine he’ll be making his presidential run announcement around this time next year.

While the california republicans are doing ads telling people to vote no on the proposition in order to preserve “fairness.” Freaking clowns

    8. I caught a Republican ad on YouTube that was trying to sell „No on Prop 50“ and it boiled down to, „Only let Republicans rig congressional districts.“

Do it. No sense in playing by a rule book that the other side completely disregards. When they go low, go lower. They’ll play victim no matter what- might as well fuck em up real good
