      Trump has plans to change the constitution and run for a third term, if he does, I say, let’s go Obama!

      What is he doing?

      Millions of people are desperate for leadership.

      It’s beyond time for a respected leader at the national level to
      stand up (in public, not at some friggen private fundraiser) and:

      – Stop acting like this is a normal presidency that will expire in
      four years and clearly explain this to people.

      – Lead protests. If a leader said „We need 5 million in DC on Wednesday“ it’d probably happen. Educate us about rights and
      resistance tactics.

      – Hold regular public briefings. Establish a social media outlet for this. Leverage the international press. Publicize and archive
      the crimes.

      – Most of all: Come up with a plan and explain it. Help us to execute it. E.g., organize strikes and boycotts if/when/where that makes sense.

      Obama could do all of this if he wanted to.

      This is what we need. He needs to do more and really cement himself as a party leader.

      He’s a historical world figure, former world leader, constitutional scholar . Fuck the W approach, Barrack needs to be in the game.

      I feel good about him getting out there, I feel good about our state leaders fighting. I’m worried about our politicians at the national level but I’m confident that our fight will persist in spite of them.

      It is critical for Obama and Bush to stand together and in very blunt language issue a call to action. The tradition of ex presidents not speaking on current events is broken and this is an extended and extraordinary situation.

      If Trump finds a way to twist the Constitution to run for a third term, you know that Obama will run against him. How could he not?

      I hope trump trys to change the 22nd amendment so he can run again. That way Obama can come back and clean up this mess so the USA is a respectable nation again

      I don’t blame Obama for sitting out much of the last 8 years. Presidents typically don’t get involved in the affairs of presidents and the man has the right to enjoy his life post-presidency. That said, failure to effectively inject young leadership that resonates with the nation has created a situation where someone like Obama, who is but two years older than my mother, still somehow has to be the young voice that resonates with people.
